SPECIAL OLYMPIAN
THOMAS BABCOCK

Skate Kingston is very proud and honoured that Thomas Babcock has qualified to compete at the 2009 Special Olympics Winter World Games in Boise, Idaho as a Member of Team Canada. It is wonderful that Thomas has chosen Skate Kingston as his home club for the 2008-09 skating season. To help him prepare for the Games, Thomas skates on the Skate Kingston Monday and Friday morning open StarSkate sessions at the INVISTA Centre and on Saturday morning ice at the Memorial Centre with the Kingston Silver Blades Special Olympics Figure Skaters.

Visit http://www.kingstonthisweek.com for a recent article entitled "Silver Blades skater qualifies for World Games".
